Today Iran marks the 21-st anniversary of the death of the founder and leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ruhollah Mousavi Khomeini. During his grandson Hassan Khomeini's address the participants of the event voiced slogans against the Iranian opposition, Iranian television channel IRINN reported.
Grandson of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini Seyyed Hassan Khomeini did not participate in Ahmadinejad's inauguration, who won the last presidential elections. He also expressed concern about violent acts against the citizens who spoke at the peaceful protest against the official election results. Hassan Khomeini supported the supporters of reforms and ex-presidential candidate Mirhuseyn Musevi.
Imam Khomeini died 10 years after the victory of the revolution, June 4, 1989, in one of the cardiological clinics in Tehran.
