Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in his statement today in Hamadan, has threatened to close the Iranian market for the countries that have imposed sanctions against the country, the official website of the Iranian television İRİBNEWS reported.

"Every country in Europe, which has violated the agreement signed with Iran, arguing by the sanctions, should take into account that it will have no place on the Iranian market", Ahmadinejad said.

"Iranian people do not need your luxury products. They will not beg you," Ahmadinejad said.

Today, the Iranian president visited the city of Hamadan as part of visits to the regions. According to some media reports, during the visit a hand grenade was thrown to Ahmadinejad's cortege. Several people were injured. Ahmadinejad was not injured. One man was detained due to this incident. Iranian website Press-TV denied this information.
