Iran sells state shares worth about $528M

Since the beginning of Iranian year (started March 21) until the end of November, the Iranian Privatization Agency sold state property and shares worth 22.193 trillion rials (about $528.4 million) through stock exchange, negotiations and auctions, IBENA news agency reported.

State property and shares worth 61 billion rials (about $1.45 million) were sold via the stock exchange, state property and shares worth 21.81 trillion rials (about $519.4 million) were sold via auctions, state property and shares worth 198 billion rials (about $4.71 million) were sold through negotiations, and state property and shares worth 118 billion rials (about $2.8 million) were sold through the Iran Fara Bourse (IFB).

Also, state property and shares worth 22.816 trillion rials (approximately $528.2 million) were sold via blockchain, and state property and shares worth 15 billion rials (about $357,100) were sold in preferential form.

State property and shares worth 20.236 trillion rials were sold to big companies, while state property and shares worth 1.956 trillion rials were sold to small companies.
