Pakistani training aircraft crashes at Karachi airport
A training aircraft of Pakistan's Schion air flying club crashed Thursday at Karachi Airport while taking off, the civil aviation authorities (CAA) said, Xinhua reported.
According to CAA sources, the plane boarding two pilots and two instructors took off the Karachi airport but it crashed on the runway.
The authorities said all the four persons escaped unhurt in the accident. An probe into the incident has been ordered, sources said.
The runway was sealed for a brief period for any take off and landing activities but was cleared later.
The reasons of the crash would yet to be ascertained whether it was a technical fault or other reasons.
