Britain will supply 2,000 all-weather tents to help people affected by the flooding in Pakistan, the government said Wednesday, dpa reported.
The tents, which will be distributed by the Save the Children aid agency, would give shelter for up to 10,000 people living in areas devastated by flooding.
International Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell said the government would enable humanitarian experts and aid agencies to travel quickly to affected areas to kick-start their aid programmes.
