Afghan and foreign forces have killed 114 suspected insurgents in September, the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said Friday, DPA reported.
More than 438 suspected insurgents had been arrested, ensuring that Afghan civilians could vote in the country's parliamentary elections, an ISAF statement said.
Among the killed and detained were more than 105 leaders of the Taliban or the Haqqani network, another insurgent group fighting the international forces in Afghanistan, ISAF added.
