The city authorities have not sanctioned the picket, scheduled by the Musavat party on 2 July in front of the Baku Executive power, the Musavat party told Trend. The reply letter of the Baku authorities declines to allow holding actions in front of the Executive power building. In their letter the city authorities propose to Musavat party to hold the congress again at the Khatai Palace of Culture.
The Musavat party applied to the Baku Executive authority with the request to hold the congress at the Shakhriyar Palace. However, no positive reply followed and the Khatai Palace of Culture has been proposed instead. But the Musavat party leadership has not agreed with it and insists on its own option. In spite of the refusal, the picket will take place on 2 July at 12.00 p.m. in front of the Baku Executive power building.
