Kazakh banks increased the volume of loans to small businesses by 728 billion tenge or 35 percent to 2.8 trillion tenge (337.56 tenge = $1) in Jan. –Aug. 2016 compared to the same period of 2015

Kazakh banks increased the volume of loans to small businesses by 728 billion tenge or 35 percent to 2.8 trillion tenge (337.56 tenge = $1) in Jan. –Aug. 2016 compared to the same period of 2015, Kazakh National banks reported on Sept. 27.

In August the volume of credits from Kazakh banks to all businesses stood at 12.7 trillion tenge.

The bank’s loan portfolio in the manufacturing industry increased by 86 billion tenge, in agriculture - by 80.2 billion tenge, in the construction sector – by 31.4 billion tenge.
As much as 83 percent of the provided loans are granted for a period exceeding one year.
