Total revenues volume from information and communication services in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) in January-July 2014 amounted to about 27.1 million AZN, which is 1.9 percent more than the same period of 2013, states the report on the socio-economic development of the NAR in the first seven months of 2014.
According to the report, some 84.4 percent accounted for mobile services of the total volume of services.
The total amount of incomes received during the period from mobile services exceeded 22.8 million AZN, which is a 0.8 percent increase compared to January-July 2013.
Mobile network penetration level is 104 percent in the NAR. Digital television signal covers 94 percent of the population of the autonomous republic. A social digital package consisting of 12 television channels is available to the population.
A decoder is needed for watching digital TV content. Cost of the devices in the domestic market is 25-30 AZN.
