Azerbaijani company SINAM will participate in the creation of the Kyrgyzhydromet electronic archive and forming the foundation of Hydrometeorological data on an electronic storage media, the company said on Feb.25.
The work will be carried out under the World Bank's (WB) Central Asia Hydrometeorology Modernisation Project which is being implemented by the Agency on Hydrometeorology under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan.
The project envisages delivery and installation of equipment and relevant software, as well as digitising, indexing and preservation of archival documents of Kyrgyzhydromet on to the database.
SINAM Company won the tender announced under this WB project. Alongside the Azerbaijani company, NSP JSC (Kyrgyzstan), Lanit CJSC (Russia) and Empire & Redocs Consortium (Kyrgyzstan-Russia) also participated in the tender.
