Kazakh authorities are waiting for Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit in March to Astana, where they will host his meeting with the leaders of Kazakhstan and Belarus, RIA Novosti reported Feb. 26.

Earlier, the Kremlin's press service said that Putin and Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed on the phone the issues of international assistance to the peaceful settlement of the crisis in Ukraine.

"At the end of the conversation, Putin confirmed his intention to take part in a tripartite meeting of the presidents of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia, which is scheduled to be held in March in Astana," the press service of the Kazakh president said.
