The activities of 29 enterprises were restored in the Lorestan Province (western Iran) in the last Iranian year (March 21, 2019 - March 20, 2020), chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Lorestan Province Mohammad Reza Safarkhani said, Trend reports referring to the organization.
The chairman noted that with the investment of 8.7 trillion rials (about $207 million) to these enterprises, 550 people were employed.
He added that it is planned to resume the activities of 30 enterprises in the current Iranian year. With the launch of these enterprises, 870 people will be employed.
In addition, 25 production facilities are planned to be commissioned in Lorestan Province.
"The commissioning of these enterprises will greatly help to the economy of the province," he said.
