Georgian Interior Minister Irakli Garibashvili started the official visit to Turkey on Tuesday.
According to Georgian Internal Affairs Ministry, Garibashvili will meet with Turkish Interior Minister Muammer Guler in Ankara. During the meeting the parties will discuss cooperation in the field of law enforcement, deepening the existing level of cooperation, and discuss joint plans.
Within the visit the head of Georgian Internal Affairs Ministry will also meet with Director General of Turkish National Police Mehmet Kiliclar.
Garibashvili will also visit Turkish National Police Academy. He will get familiar with the course of study at that institution.
The visit of the head of Georgian Internal Affairs Ministry to Turkey will last till August 29.
