A meeting between Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrisov and OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatović will be held in Astana on Wednesday, Kazakh Foreign Ministry's representative Altai Abibullayev said in Astana on Tuesday.
"Mijatović's visit to Kazakhstan will run until Nov.1. It is planned to discuss specific aspects in the field of protection and promotion of freedom of speech and expression in the OSCE space," Abibullayev said.
He said Mijatović will also meet with Culture and Information Minister Darkhan Mynbayev, Kazakh Presidential Adviser Yermukhamet Yertysbayev, as well as Commissioner for Human Rights in Kazakhstan Askar Shakirov in Astana.
