Azerbaijan announces 2023 budget funds for legal persons of public law

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 7. A total of 442.8 million manats ($260.4 million) have been allocated from Azerbaijan’s budget for legal entities of public law for 2023, Trend reports citing the ministry of finance's materials on the "About the state budget of 2023" draft.

The above-mentioned funding has been provided to 51 legal persons of public law.

"The number allocated for 9 legal persons of public law in the field of science is 17.2 million manats ($10.1 million) in the field of judicial authorities, law enforcement agencies, and the prosecutor's office, 78.9 million manats ($46.1 million) have been provided to one legal entity of public law; a total of 3.8 million manats ($2.2 million) have been provided to two legal persons of public law in the sphere of education; 6.2 million manats ($3.6 million) for one entity of public law in the field of healthcare; for two entities of public law in the field of social protection; 104.6 million manats ($61.5 million) have been allocated; 64.7 million manats ($38 million) for twelve entities of public law in the fields of culture, art, information, physical education, youth policy, and other activities; 16.7 million manats ($9.8 million) for two legal persons of public law in the field of housing and communal services; 3.5 million manats ($2 million) has been provided to one entity of public law in the field of environmental protection; and 147.2 million manats ($86.5 million) for 21 legal persons of public law in the economic sphere", said the ministry.
