BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 20. Heydar Aliyev International Airport will continue working in the directions of alternative energy, effective waste management, and reduction of energy consumption, the director of International Airport Teymur Hasanov told reporters on the sidelines of COP29, Trend reports.
“Today, within the COP29 event, we presented our leadership in decarbonization to the international community. As we know, decarbonization is no longer a choice; it is already a global requirement. Of course, we are not resting on our laurels and continue to work in the directions of alternative energy, effective waste management, and reduction of energy consumption,” he said.
Hasanov noted that the goal is a real contribution to global sustainable development.
