( news.sawf.org ) - Doting husband Tom Cruise has reportedly snapped up an $30million pound mansion for wife Katie Holmes - even though it wasn't up for sale. The actor was reportedly so floored by the Beverly Hills mansion that he made the owners an offer that they just couldn't refuse.
The result - the actor is now the proud owner of a 9858 Square foot home that comes with seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a pool and tennis courts. The house, that is just round the corner from their current house is less than a mile from the new home bought by their celebrity friends Victoria and David Beckham.
A source revealed that the mansion is perfect for the actor and his family, who have till now been renting a home nearby. "The new place fits all his needs," The Sun quoted the source, as saying. The house will also have plenty of place for the Cruise household, which not only includes the actor, Holmes and their daughter Suri, but also Tom's kids from his marriage to Nicole Kidman - Isabella and Connor - as well as his mother, who lives with them.
