Azerbaijan releases ranking of local banks in terms of net profit

Some 23 out of 26 banks in Azerbaijan completed last year with a net profit and three banks with a net loss, Trend reports via the statistics of the country’s Central Bank (CBA).

According to the statistics, the domestic banking sector ended 2021 with a net profit of 609 million manat ($358.2 million), which is 41.2 million manat ($24.2 million), or 7.2 percent more compared to 2020 (567.8 million manat or $334 million).
