Oil production by Masjed Soleyman Oil and Gas Production Company (MSOGPC) in Iran’s Khuzestan province will increase by 39,100 barrels daily, Head of National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) Ahmad Mohammadi said, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.
Mohammadi noted that the company produces 20,000 barrels of oil daily, adding that production will increase with the development of six oil deposits of the company.
The company official said that drilling of two expansion wells has already begun at the Kabud and Lali Asmari oil fields.
“Thus, the company has launched development projects of 28 oil fields,” Mohammadi added.
MSOGPC is a subsidiary of NISOC.
