A new secretary general of the Azerbaijani Wrestling Federation (AWF) has been appointed, AWF press service head Matlab Abdullayev told Trend .
Abdullayev said former AWF Secretary General Javid Gurbanov resigned.
The reason for his resignation has not yet been made public.
AWF Executive Director Ramin Gasimov will assume the post of acting secretary general, he added.
