Azerbaijani female volleyball players ready to triumph over Spanish rival: head coach

Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb.6 / Trend corr R. Ergun / Performance of Azerbaijani female volleyball players of Rabitechi club is high, head coach of the club Yuriy Gennadievich told Trend on Feb.6.

"We defeated well-known German club "Dresden" in the previous stage. Now, we should perfectly perform before Spanish club "Albassete" though the game becomes harder in each stage," the head coach said.   

Rabitechi and Albassete will face in the quarter final of "Chelens" tournament on Feb.11.  

The first game will be held in the Olympic complex in Azerbaijani region Guba. The revenge game will be held in Spain.

"We are decisive for victory but this is volleyball. It is difficult for now to guess how the game will run," the coach said. 

Gennadievich said that the Spanish club was beefed up with two new players. The club currently has seven foreign players. So, the match will be interesting but difficult.
