The preparatory meeting on case of the detained young people was held in Azerbaijan.
The court did not satisfy the appeal of the lawyer of accused Emin Milli (Abdullayev) and Adnan Hajizade to hold the meeting in larger hall of the Sabail District Court, to take photos and record video.
Under the official data, at 18:00 on July 9, Adnan Hajizadeh, his friend Emin Abdullayev and five more people, being in a drunk state, clashed with Vusal Mammadov and Babak Huseynov, who rebuked them for non-ethic words.
Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizade were accused of the Articles 221 (hooliganism) and 127 (intentional infliction of minor severe bodily harm) of the Criminal Code. The young people deny the accusations and consider their arrest illegal.
Hajizade's lawyer Isakhan Ashurov said that the rights of the accused were violated during the primary investigation and so they appealed to put an end to the materials of investigation and return them to the prosecutor's office. Ashurov said that they demanded to pass strict resolution towards the investigator, inspector of the Sabail District Police Office, Ziya Aliyev, and regional prosecutor, Shirkhan Adigozalov. However, the court did not satisfy this appeal.
The lawyers of the accused appealed to change the arrest punishment and the judges held a meeting on it. After the meeting, the judges did not satisfy the appeal. The first session of the trial on Hajizade and Milli will be held on September 16.
