Azerbaijani State Caspian Sea Shipping Company transports its dry cargoes to Caspian Sea

Caspian Shipping Company has already transported nearly all of its dry cargo ships, which previously operated in the Black Sea, the Caspian basin, the Azerbaijani State Caspian Sea Shipping Company (CASPAR) head Aydin Bashirov said.

"We transported almost all our dry cargo ships from the Black Sea to Baku," Bashirov said.

According to him, ASCSC has only two vessels in the Black Sea. The first one is a dry cargo ship "Rashid Bejbutov". The vessel "Fikret Amirov" operates on the line Zonguldag (Turkey) - Skadovsk (Ukraine). It is involved in the transportation of dry and other goods, as well as cars from Turkey to Ukraine and Russia.

ASCSC transported 1,2 million tons last year more cargo than the previous year.

At present, ASCSC has 80 tanker and dry cargo vessels, 43 tankers and 28 - bulk carriers, and the remaining nine vessels - ferries. It also has 37 additional vessels. Total deadweight is 520.700 tons.
