Croatian companies in the field of new technologies and green energy could contribute to the development of Azerbaijani territories liberated from Armenian occupation, Croatian Embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend.
Following over a month of military action to liberate its territories from Armenian occupation from late Sept. to early Nov. 2020, Azerbaijan has pushed Armenia to sign the surrender document. A joint statement on the matter was made by the Azerbaijani president, Armenia's PM, and the president of Russia.
A complete ceasefire and a cessation of all hostilities in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was introduced on Nov. 10, 2020.
Mentioning the process of reconstruction of the liberated areas of Azerbaijan, the embassy said that the cooperation with two companies from Croatia, specializing in demining, is under consideration by the Azerbaijani authorities.
The embassy also noted that following the announcements through the media about the establishment of eco-friendly zones and cities in the liberated areas, it believes that Croatian companies in the field of new technologies and green energy could also contribute to the development of these areas.
