Kyrgyz president for transition period Roza Otunbayeva recalled 14 candidates to the Supreme Court before they were submitted for approval of the Parliament. Akhmatbek Keldibekov, the Parliament's Speaker, stated at the meeting today, 24.kg reported.
The member of Ata Meken faction Turatbek Madylbekov was outraged by this decision of the President.
"She has the right to withdraw the application, request, and decision. That's her right. Especially since the President is the main figure in the formation of the judiciary," another deputy, representative of Ata-Zhurt faction Kurmanbek Osmonov emphasized.
