Georgia, Tbilisi / corr. Trend N. Kirtskhalia/ Georgia and Russia could not reach to an agreement on negotiation process within the framework of regulating the Georgia-Osetin conflict, Yuri Popov, the envoy of Russian Foreign Ministry said in his meeting with Temur Yakobashvili, the minister of re-integration of Georgia.
The meeting was held for three hours. Popov arrived in Skinvali on 5 March and discussed the complaints of Georgia on the Format of settlement process.
"We have different views on the negotiation process and agreed to continue our discussions on all the significant issues," Popov said.
"We have our own opinions regarding the participation of Dmitry Sanokayev, the head of temporary government of South Osetia in the negotiation process," Yakobashvili said.
"We think that it is impossible to solve the problem without the participation of the nation which Mr. Sanokayev represents. We are ready to hear the opposite side and we think that each side should be represented," the minister said.
