The NATO Defense College is visiting Georgian Defense Ministry with an educational visit.

As Georgian Defense Ministry told Trend, the head of the delegation - College Commandant, Lieutenant General Arne Bard Dalhaug met with Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Defence Tamar Karosanidze, who oversees human resources and education.

The parties noted the importance of the NATO Defense College and the importance of professional training of military and civilian personnel.

The purpose of the visit is to inform college students about the foreign policy of Georgia, the reforms in the defense sector, the process of integration into NATO and regional security.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Nikoloz Vashakidze, First Deputy Defense Minister Levan Dolidze, Deputy State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration David Dondua, president of Strategy and International Relations Foundation Alexander Rondeli acquainted with these questions for about 80 college students.

With members of the delegation also met NATO Liaison Officer in Georgia William Lahav.

Delegation also visited Turkey and Azerbaijan.
