Hours after the US Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the indictment of 13 Russian individuals and three entities for allegedly attempting to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, US President Donald Trump once again denied all reports of collusion, Sputnik reported.

While saying that Russia was involved in anti-US operations, Trump pointed out that the indictment mentions Moscow's campaign began in 2014 — before he announced his intention to run for president. Trump tweeted this while aboard Marine One en route to Joint Base Andrews, prior to his departure for his resort and "second White House" at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.

"Russia started their anti-US campaign in 2014, long before I announced that I would run for President. The results of the election were not impacted. The Trump campaign did nothing wrong - no collusion!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
