Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC) head Mazahir Panahov has stated today that the country will hold municipal elections for vacant seats on Nov. 30.
He said the previous municipal elections in the country were held on Dec.29, 2009.
"The elections were held in 1,718 municipalities. Some 1,709 municipalities were formed following the elections. Elections in nine municipalities were declared invalid," Panahov said.
