Leading Azerbaijani insurer extends duration of new campaign

Azerbaijan’s PASHA Insurance OJSC, the leader in the country’s non-life insurance market, has extended the new campaign as part of comprehensive motor insurance (CASCO), Trend reports citing the company’s press service.

In the framework of this campaign, which started on April 22, customers who carry out voluntary car insurance at PASHA Insurance until May 22 will receive full annual car insurance by paying an insurance premium for 10 months. Thus, the company gives part of the insurance premium to its customers for two months free of charge.

According to the report, the duration of this campaign is extended until May 31.

As part of the campaign, customers will be able to pay insurance payments within a special preferential schedule.

In order to join the campaign, as well as to get additional information about it, it is enough to contact the representative of PASHA Insurance OJSC by dialing *7000. Moreover, the information necessary for insurance (car brand, model, release date, approximate market value, contact numbers, as well as a copy of the driver’s license and car registration certificate) can be sent as a message to the company’s official page on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/pasha.insurance).

PASHA Insurance OJSC is a recognized leader in the non-life insurance market in Azerbaijan. The registered capital of the company is 50 million manat ($29.4 million). It provides insurance services for 36 voluntary and compulsory types of insurance to 300,000 corporate and individual clients.

The company collected insurance premiums in the amount of 150.1 million manat ($88.2 million) and paid insurance claims in the amount of 52.7 million manat ($31 million) in 2019, ranking second among domestic insurers.

According to the company's performance in the first quarter of 2020, it collected insurance premiums in the amount of 75.9 million manat ($44.6 million), which is almost 44 percent of the total collected premiums in the non-life insurance market in Azerbaijan, which allows it to be considered the undisputed leader in this segment.

Presently, 22 insurance companies and one reinsurance company operate in Azerbaijan.
