Production from Iran’s Saadatabad oil field to increase

Production from Saadatabad oil field, located in Iran’s Fars province, will increase, Managing Director of Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) Ramin Hatami said, Trend reports with reference to the company’s website.

He said that 2.24 trillion rials (about $53.4 million) have been allocated for the oil field’s development project.

He added that the Saadatabad oil field’s development project is being implemented to boost daily crude oil production in Saadatabad and Sarvestan oil zone to 3,000 barrels and increase fuel production of Shiraz Oil Refining Company.

Hatami said that the Saadatabad oil field’s development project will be implemented by the West Oil and Gas Production Company and Southern Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company, which are part of ICOFC.

“Generally, laying a 14 km 6-inch oil pipeline, installation of power supply equipment and joining of two new wells are included in the project,” he said.
