At first, the games of the AzDimension company were made only in Azerbaijani language, aimed at local audience, CEO and Founder of the company Farid Haqverdiyev told Trend.
A lot has changed since then, considering the latest developments of the company.
“Our latest game - The Last Dead End (Adventure game with elements if FPS and horror), is hosted on the international STEAM gaming platform. Its trailer was viewed more than a million times on YouTube. Users from the US, Russia, Germany, Turkey and the UK became interested in the game,” said Haqverdiyev.
“Besides the official sale, The Last Dead End was distributed on pirated discs in China and South America, and the number of its sales cannot be calculated. Almost all of the company's games are free to download, including on the official website, and on the STEAM platform, where they're sold for several manat,” the CEO noted.
“In general, we try to follow trends and use the latest technology. Besides the computer game projects, we are also working on mobile games, as well as browser games,” added Haqverdiyev.
“Moreover, developers work with such modern technologies as virtual reality, ArchViz. The developers gradually expand the genre spectrum of games,” he said.
“We also participate in implementation of the so-called educational games, for example, in 2019 we created a small game for schoolchildren in the US, which makes the process of studying mathematics more fun,” Haqverdiyev said.
“We carry out the search for investors and cooperation with foreign companies through participation in international exhibitions and contests,” Haqverdiyev added.
AzDimension participated in four international exhibitions in Iran, Germany, Russia and Belarus, where The Last Dead End game won awards, he said.
“Every year, we take part with our stand in various exhibitions in Azerbaijan, which gives results. We have established partnerships with both local and foreign investors. Demo versions of our projects are now being considered by several foreign investors, and with one of the local investors we started implementing a joint project,” said the expert.
“Investors see that AzDimension has been operating on the computer games market for ten years and is still the only company that implements large projects, has a large portfolio, as well as several finished projects. All this increases confidence in us, as a reliable and qualified partner,” Haqverdiyev added.
