BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. Tajikistan increased cement exports to Uzbekistan from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Customs Service of Tajikistan.
According to the statistics, the value of Tajikistan's cement exports to Uzbekistan in the first half of this year amounted to $14.1 million, which is an increase of 2.1 percent compared to the same period of 2021 ($13.8 million).
The volume of Tajik exports of cement to Uzbekistan in the reporting period amounted to 471,472 tons.
Meanwhile, the total amount of exports of goods from Tajikistan to Uzbekistan in the first half of 2022 amounted to $95.8 million, which is a twofold increase compared to the same period of last year ($45.1 million).
