Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci handed over his post to the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye Birol Akgün due to the completion of his diplomatic activity.
On January 11, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan appointed Birol Akgün as the new ambassador to Azerbaijan.
The diplomatic activity of the Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci was completed on December 14 last year.
