BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 30. Azerbaijan implemented a total of 44 road construction projects from 2020 through 2024 in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions as part of the "I State Program on the Great Return to the liberated territories of Azerbaijan" and based on presidential directives, the State Agency for Azerbaijan's Automobile Roadstold Trend.
"On the highways in the territories liberated from occupation, the construction includes 45 tunnels spanning a total of 70.8 kilometers, 447 bridges with a combined length of 9,581.6 meters, and 16 viaducts measuring 3,871 meters in total. As of now, 28 tunnels with a total length of 59.6 kilometers, 392 bridges totaling 8,339.1 meters, and 9 viaducts with a length of 1,695 meters have been completed," the report said.
