BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 30. Azerbaijan is a dynamically developing country with great cultural and economic opportunities, ADA University Design and Architecture Faculty Dean Silvia Ferrari said, Trend reports.
Ferrari shared a comment during the official ceremony marking the launch of new initiatives in communication design and urban planning as part of the Italy-Azerbaijan University project at ADA University.
"Last year, we introduced two new courses at the university: one in architecture and the other in interior design, and I'm glad to announce the launch of two new programs. One is focused on urban planning, and the other on communication design.
Azerbaijan is a dynamically developing country, experiencing significant cultural and economic changes, and new opportunities are emerging in these areas. This is why the Faculty of Design and Architecture is committed to preparing new architects, designers, and urban planners," she explained.
The dean pointed out that urban planners are set to be the driving force behind the development of Baku and its surrounding areas, as they will have ample chances to craft sustainable and innovative projects.
"Communication design specialists will help companies and organizations build effective strategies, create values, and develop unique styles," Ferrari added.
ADA University was founded on January 13, 2014, by a decree from the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The university is a public higher education institution that provides undergraduate and graduate degree programs and promotes research growth. In 2022, ADA University augmented its operations under the Italy-Azerbaijan University initiative. This new institution, established by a decree from President Ilham Aliyev, seeks to enhance knowledge exchange between Azerbaijan and Italy, foster innovation, and aid in the economic development of our nation.
