BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 17. The generation of electricity in Azerbaijan from January to October 2022 has increased by 3.8 percent (or 876,4 million kilowatt hours) up to 23,7 billion kilowatt hours, Trend reports via the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.

"During the accounting period, 21.9 billion kilowatt hours were generated by TPS (thermal power station), and 1,46-kilowatt hours were generated by HTP (hydroelectric power station). The output of WPS (wind power station), SES (sanitary and epidemiological station), and the solid waste sorting factory was 291,8 million kilowatt hours," said the statement.

In addition, during the mentioned period, WPS generated 73,4 million kilowatt hours, SES - 55 million kilowatt hours, and the solid waste sorting factory - 163,4 million kilowatt hours.
