President of Austrian Federal Economic Chamber said here on Tuesday that Iran and his country have signed 15 memoranda of understanding (MOUs) worth 80 million euros, with capacity to increase five-fold needless of new agreements, IRNA reported.

Christophe Leitl who was speaking in a press conference after a joint economic meeting of Iranian and Austrian economic activists reiterated it is expected that the two countries' companies will for five-folding the reached agreements spend efforts more than ever before.

'Austria has not set any priorities for presence in Iran's various programs, believing it is the Iranian government and private sector that are entitled the right to decide about that important matter,' he reiterated.

President Leitl stressed that dispatching a 230-member economic delegation from Austria to a country is quite unprecedented, especially that the Austrian president is heading this delegation, which makes it a historical event for his country.

'Austria is interested in making investments in many project in Iran, respecting the golden rule that in a good trade both sides must be benefitted,' he added.

The Austrian official said that his government and nation are opposed to all types of wars in the world, believing that the only way to resolve all the crises is establishment of dialogues and compromising.

He said that tourism is one of the unique expertises of Austria, which has great competence in tourism software.

'It is Vienna's policy to rank first in the world in tourism all the times,' added Leitl.
He reiterated the need to get acquainted with the Iranian tourism culture before planning for dispatching Austrian tours to Iran though.

On the sanctions era, the president of Austrian Federal Economic Chamber said that Vienna never left Tehran alone during those days and that was why Austria's friends sometimes reprimanded Vienna for doing so.
