BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 4. Carrefour, a French multinational retail corporation, has decided to join the Business Association of Georgia (BAG), Trend reports via the press service of the Association.
According to the BAG, Carrefour has been operating in Georgia since 2012, and today the company is represented by 69 stores with up to 3,000 employees.
“We are pleased that the BAG, despite the global challenges Georgian economy is currently facing, continues to grow and develop. We have been actively working with the retail chains on the problems that companies face. However, challenges remain and the involvement of an international brand of this scale will further strengthen our joint efforts,” Soso Pkhakadze, the President of the BAG, said.
