Updated Madrid principles developed by the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group for settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict were presented in 2010 for storage to Secretary General of the OSCE, spokesperson of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Hikmet Hajiyev told Trend Jan. 26.

There are some suggestions of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov among the ideas put forward for the implementation of the updated Madrid principles, Hajiyev said.

He also mentioned, that for the discussion of these proposals, Lavrov paid visits to Azerbaijan and Armenia, held discussions with the Presidents and Foreign Ministers of the two countries. In connection with this the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov paid a visit to Moscow.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said today at a press conference in Moscow that all the documents on the conflict were presented to Secretary General of the OSCE. He also said that there are no any other documents related to the conflict.
