Azerbaijan, Barda / Тrend corr Sh. Jaliloghlu / Armenian Armed Forces yet again committed arson in occupied Azerbaijan on 25 September at approximately at 10pm.

Armenia has occupied 20% of Azerbaijani lands including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and its seven surrounding districts. Since 1992 to the present time, these territories have been under Armenian occupation. In 1994, Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a cease-fire agreement at which time active hostilities ended.

Strong fire has been seen on the Armenian-Azerbaijani frontline of armed forces since last year. In connection to this a group of representatives from OSCE and the UN carried out monitoring. As a result, a report was raised and distributed among UN member-countries.

Trend regional correspondent reported, citing residents of nearby mountainous and pre-mountainous regions, that fires were started in the foothills and mountainous areas of the Armenian-occupied Azerbaijani village of Yukhari Abdulrahmanli. The fire damaged dry grass pastures in the foothills and mountains of the region and the serious damage was caused to flora and fauna.

The fire lasted till morning.
