Nearly 200 creative and technical pensionable age employees of Azerbaijan Close Joint-Stock TV and Radio Company (AzTV) have retired, the Head of the Staff and Special Affairs Department of AzTV, Mansur Bayramov, informed Trend.
He stressed that at present, the contracts have been concluded with the employees on an hourly basis. Irrespective of the level of work, the employees have received a stable salary. Currently, the daily salary system of employees will be applied. But it does not mean that the retired employees will not work with AzTV, they will have the option to work on a part-time basis.
The Department Head considers that younger staff will be attracted to the vacancies. At present new technology is being utilized and 60-70-year old employees are unable to keep up with this, resulting in the need for a younger personnel. However professional employees will be involved in the vacancies, Bayramov said.
