Jordan is Interested in Developing Commercial and Economic Relations with Azerbaijan  Jordanian Prime Minister

Jordan is interested in developing commercial and economic relations with Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister of Jordan, Maruf Al Bakheyt, stated on 7 November in Baku while making a speech at the opening of the business forum which was attended by businessmen of the two countries, Trend reports. The business forum is held in line with the exhibition of national commodities of Jordan. The Jordanian Prime Minister voiced his confidence that the forum and exhibition will open new opportunities to promote business relations between the two countries of which there is a great potential, he said.

The first Vice Primer of Azerbaijan, Yagub Eyyubov, expressed the interest of the Azerbaijani Government towards the market of the Near East and Jordan. He stressed that the current level of the relations do not satisfy either side and it was necessary to establish new direct ties between the representatives of the private sectors of the two countries.

During his speech at the opening of the forum, the Azerbaijani Deputy Economic Minister, Mikail Jabbarov, updated the participants of the economic situation in Azerbaijan.

The exhibition and business forum has been organized by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development, AZTROMO, Trade Chamber of Jordan and Business Development Corporation of Jordan. All large companies of Jordan are represented at the exhibition.

As a result of the business forum, it is planned to sign two documents: Understanding Memorandum between AZTROMO and Business Development Corporation of Jordan; and Understanding Memorandum between the Trade and Industry Chambers of the two countries.
