OPEC forecasts that the Azerbaijani oil shipment will be increased by 70,000 barrels and reach 980,000 barrel daily in 2009.
OPEC projects that Azerbaijan's oil shipment in the fourth quarter of this year will hit 1.04 million barrel daily, 880,000 barrel in the first quarter, 1 million barrel in the second quarter, and 990,000 - in the third quarter.
The Kazakh oil shipment will be increased by 80,000 barrels and will reach 1.49 million barrel this year. This figure is lower by 8,000 barrels than OPEC's forecast for the previous month.
OPEC forecasts that oil shipments by developing countries will up by 360,000 barrels a day and reach 12.6 million barrels per day.
The former Soviet countries will deliver 12.6 million barrels per day in 2009 which is by 30,000 barrel more than 2008. This figure is by 25,000 barrels per day lower than the volume forecast in April.
"Forecasts reflect a high level of uncertainty, as the global economic crisis makes companies decrease investment," OPEC report says.
According to OPEC's preliminary assessments, volume of world oil shipment reduced by 190,000 barrels - to 83.39 million barrels per day in March. The oil shipment of non OPEC countries dropped by 40,000 barrels per day, while oil shipment of the OPEC countries fell by 170,000 barrels per day. OPEC's share in universal oil production slightly dropped and totaled 33.4 percent.
OPEC projects non OPEC countries' oil shipment will increase to 50.61 million barrels per day.
