Fuel price hit all-time high in Georgia, Trend reports via Georgian media.
As reported, the average cost of regular fuel has exceeded 3 lari (97 cents).
The cost of other brands of fuel has also risen to record levels. For example, the price for premium brand fuel ranges within 3.12-3.17 lari ($1.01-$1.02), while Euro diesel costs 3.05-3.07 lari (98-99 cents).
Despite that lari strengthened by 10.1 percent against USD over the past 120 days, fuel cost has risen by 13 percent over the same period, which is related to the global market price.
The cost of a barrel of oil now totals to $69, while 4 months ago it has been $63.8.
