The loans issued to the public organizations in Azerbaijan amounted to 18.2 million manat ($10.7 million) as of early June 2021, which is by 17.6 percent (3.9 million manat $2.3 million) less compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to the statistics of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the CBA, the share of lending to the public organizations in lending to the real sector during the reporting period amounted to 0.1 percent, remaining unchanged compared to early June 2020.
In general, lending to the real sector of the Azerbaijani economy during the first five months of 2021 amounted to 15.07 billion manat ($8.9 billion), which is by 301.4 million manat ($177.3 million) or two percent more than in the same period of last year.
The biggest share of loans in Azerbaijan as of early June accounted for households, amounting to 7.1 billion manat ($4.2 billion) or 47.5 percent of the total volume of lending to the real sector.
