A new information system will be launched in Baku, which will inform about the location and interval of buses, said Mais Aghayev, the head of the Baku Transport Agency press service, Trend reports.
According to Aghayev, the monitors installed at bus stops have completed their operational cycle and do not meet modern requirements.
"The launch of the new system is expected after switching all buses to the card system. Currently, a new system is being developed to make it more convenient for passengers to track the movement of buses," Aghayev said.
By the end of 2019, all buses in Baku will switch to the card payment system.
