The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Charak port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) decreased by 12 percent in the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 22 through July 22, 2021), compared to the 3rd month of the current Iranian year (May 22 through June 21, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).
According to the statistics, a total of 95,700 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the fourth month. Of this, 81,300 tons were loaded, and 14,400 tons were unloaded.
While in the 3rd month, 109,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the port in total.
About 21,300 tons of cargo were exported through the Charak port during the reporting month.
According to the statistics, about 60,000 tons of cargo were loaded and 14,300 tons were unloaded in the port for cabotage within the fourth month.
So, 46,800 tons of construction and mining materials, 48,900 tons of small and assorted goods were loaded and unloaded in Charak port in the 4th month of the current Iranian year.
As reported, about 12.5 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the fourth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.99 million tons were loaded and 5.5 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 20.8 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
