Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev and Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov held a meeting in Bishkek on Wednesday, Kazakh Prime-Minister's press-service reported.
"The parties have discussed the current state and prospects for developing the trade, economic and investment cooperation," the press-service said.
According to Atambayev, Kyrgyzstan will continue developing the cooperation with Kazakhstan.
"We appreciate the support that your country renders us," Atambayev said.
Akhmetov, in his turn, expressed confidence that the bilateral relations should develop dynamically.
"Kazakhstan is interested in expanding and strengthening the trade and economic contacts with Kyrgyzstan," the Premier said.
