Kyrgyzindustriya presents number of projects to delegation from Uzbekistan

President of Kyrgyzindustria OJSC Zharasul Abduraimov presented a number of projects to the delegation from Uzbekistan at the fourth meeting of the Council of Plenipotentiaries of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the border areas and akims of the border regions of Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Kabar.

During the meeting, issues of development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and topical issues in various fields were discussed.

Thus, the head of Kyrgyzindustria OJSC indicated that they intend to work in this direction for the country's economic growth.

It is clarified that in this connection, carefully developed relevant projects were presented at this meeting, and the president of the society made a presentation on the following projects:

- Organization of an industrial complex for the processing of basalt stone and basalt products;

- Production of composite stones in the Kyrgyz Republic;

- Production of welding electrodes - "Kyrgyzelektrod";

- Organization of an industrial complex for the processing of limestone-shell rock (travertine);

- Construction of an Agro-Logistics Center in Nookat, Osh region;

- Construction of an Agro-Logistics Center in Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region;

- Project of the Trade and Logistics Center "Kyzyl-Kiya";

- Project "Kyrgyzchettrans";

- Project for the modernization of the silk-spinning factory in the Kyrgyz Republic;

- Construction of a factory for the production of mineral pigments (deposits: Kurubel, Belesynyk, Sagul, Madygen and Chaikamar).

In addition, according to the Kyrgyzindustry OJSC, the head of the presidential administration - chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov noted that there is a large unrealized potential in the trade and economic sphere between the two countries. “In this regard, it is necessary to take effective measures to establish direct links between the regional administrations of the two states and business circles,” he said.

Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and members of the delegation gave a positive assessment of the projects, the report said.
